I guess that classics are classics for a reason.Domaine Leflaive is a reference point for not just Puligny, but white Burgundy in general.Biodynamically farmed since before it was cool, reductive by choice and as mineral as the day is long.Are they expensive? Sure, but nice things cost money and this one is a decade old! Yes, I have had it open for recreational consumption and it was delish!This wine has extraordinary complexity and concentration for a ‘village’ wine, and that not surprising as the seven plots that feed into this blend are all between 58 and 34 years old. There is magic in them soils!
