About

Owner/Operator Heather McDougall

Heather McDougall is a certified sommelier (ISG & WSET) who has spent almost two decades honing her craft in both boutique retail and restaurant settings across Canada.

In 2020 Heather founded Sips Toronto specializing in edu-taining events and custom wine education classes. It quickly grew to also offer hospitality consulting, private cellar management, wine cellar design consulting, bespoke gifting, and catering services.

Heather is the Technical Director for the Ontario chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, an educator for George Brown College and is a national judge for Canada’s Best 100 Restaurants and for Canada’s Best Bars.
