Aside from the many pins and diplomas I’ve earned, the impressive collection of leather bound wine books and a couple decades of overfilled recycling bins, I truly love wine.
As an elder statesman in the wine and hospitality business, my focus is teaching others how to navigate (what can be a pretentious and scary world) and find what they’re looking for.
Exploring the world of wine should be fun and delicious. We all have a personal relationship with wine, and the necessary information is different for everyone. From novice to nerd and all stops in between, I create environments where everyone is comfortable speaking up, and .
I know that sharing your thoughts in front of your boss or in-laws can be scary, which is why I teach in a conversational way that is inclusive and affirming. Every group has “that guy”, and we all know how they can be at times, and rest assured I can manage them too.
Virtual Tastings
Each guest will receive a customized flight of wines samples/bottles/both delivered right to their front door. Tasting flights are expertly paired with cheese, charcuterie and custom garnishes.
Virtual tastings usually run between 90 minutes and two hours based on the number of wines and the technical complexity of your chosen theme.
In Person Seated
The classic setup! Choose your theme, I will pair the snacks and/or canapés and then you can pick your stemware. Classic, elevated or high performance.
Now, your work is done! My team and I will take it from there and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy.
Tasting Bar
The perfect addition to your next event; sharing wine in a fun and casual way! Your guests are welcome to taste at their own pace from a selection of curated bottles. Questions are always welcomed and our team of sommeliers will quickly become the most popular people in the room.
Add on a custom grazing station or a blind tasting game to keep the good times flowing!
Mix and Mingle
A beautiful hybrid combining the guided tasting and the tasting bar! Perfect for networking or socially focused events that could benefit from a low key activity to keep the conversations flowing.
Wines are circulated through the room and once in hand we pause the conversations for a brief discussion around what's in the glass. Paired canapés can be added to elevate the experience or a grazing bar for a more casual approach.
