This is an all day Champagne; provided you have a studier breakfast. French toast need not apply.This mid-weight blanc de noirs comes from the Grand Cru vineyards of Bouzy and is entirely made from Pinot Noir.Post primary fermentations, this wine is blended with 20% reserve Pinot Noir from a solera going back to the 1980s! The wine the rests in bottle for six years prior to disgorgement, and sees a 4g/L dosage added. The resulting wine thrilling to drink.Imagine a burlesque dancer with feather fans; expressive and gregarious, but only showing fractions at a time.Champagne is my favourite food group, and this is a desert island meal.
